Fit Happens has made working in a gym much more FUN and enjoyable for both the customer and the employees. Gone are the stereotypes of the gym being a place for bodybuilders and powerlifters. We are attracting and serving regular people and we do not tolerate rude or obnoxious behavior.
 
We have a system that is simple, easy to learn, and easy to follow. We seek people who will help us promote a friendly and comfortable atmosphere where even first time exercisers feel comfortable. We seek upbeat individuals who want to make a difference in other people’s lives.    
 
REQUIREMENTS:
Strong communication skills
Be teachable
Be able to smile on command
Posses a sense of humor
Have a strong work ethic
Sound friendly on the phone
Be clean-cut and approachable
Be able to tell time (and be on time)
Play well with others even on your bad days
Be honest (yes, stealing is wrong, no matter how small the amount)
Be positive  
 
NOTE TO CONSIDER: Whether you have been or are a gym member, every one of us has been a consumer somewhere. You know those employees you have met as a customer that made you want to scream? The ones that made you wonder if you had been dipped in invisible paint while you were sleeping? Or even worse, the ones that you were pretty sure got a commission for every customer they alienated? Well, if that is how you think employees should act then do NOT apply with us. Stay where you are!
 
On the other hand, if you are dedicated to customers but have grown weary of the customers that really do not want to be nice or the boss who insists that you be a doormat for really bad customers, then you may want to check us out.
