The offer has been extended through Wednesday Sept. 15.
Here's the offer in black and white -- just $10 down and then $10 a month. You can get started on a membership for JUST $10 (plus tax in Nebraska). There are no other fees due at the time of enrollment - unlike most other gyms. Get started for just $10 (plus tax in Nebraska) and your first membership dues payment of $10 isn't due until September 20.
Come check out the club and see just how much $10 down can get you. Choose from either our $10 a month Fit Happens Basic Membership or our $19.99 a month Fit Happens VIP membership. Both are incredible values, but you should learn about both so that you know which one is the best option for you when you come to the club.
Fit Happens. For just $10 a month with no commitment.
We LOVE First-Time Exercisers!
Note: Both memberships are subject to a $29 Annual Rate Guarantee Fee.
Owner Joel Potter explains Fit Happens:
I have been involved in the fitness industry for over 30 years. In the 80’s and 90’s I focused on people who wanted to lift 300 pounds – and everyone else who wanted to come along. Times have changed. In the 21st century I am focusing on people who want to avoid weighing 300 pounds – and everyone else who wants to come along.
In many cases this involves people who have never exercised, let alone been a member of a gym. I love hearing the success story of a first-time exerciser getting started with his or her first exercise program. Many new exercisers are amazed at how much just a little exercise can change how they feel about life.
In others cases we are serving customers who have been with us for decades. One friend of 30 years summed it up when he said that he spent the first half of his life trying to get his weight up to 250 pounds (he played football) and he will spend the second half of his life trying to get his weight under 250 pounds.
My focus with Fit Happens is the overweight and obese people who know they need to exercise and want to exercise. Many have hesitated because they didn’t feel that they would fit in at a gym or were hesitant about committing to a gym membership. Others have strayed from their exercise program and feel awkward coming back to the gym after gaining weight – sometimes a hundred pounds or more.
My goal is for those who need to exercise to know that they are loved and respected when they come to our facilities. An environment that ensures these people are comfortable will be just fine for most other people.
We offer extremely low price, low commitment memberships without a sales environment. We have a dress code and rules that prohibit intimidating behavior. We have strict rules against dropping weights, grunting, we do not allow deadlifting, and our dumbbells “only” go up to 85 pounds. The rules are not negotiable. Anyone who is in the club is expected to follow them or they will be asked to leave.
Fit Happens is NOT for everyone. I am not trying to create gyms that serve athletes in training. If that is what you seek we are not the gym for you. I would be happy to recommend a gym that would better serve you.
This website to explain Fit Happens. It isn’t very fancy or flashy, but it does offer more details about the program – including membership rates. After visiting, you can visit the club at any time without an appointment. But if you are interested in getting started for just $1 you better get in before September 10!
